okay. so. recap of the weekend.

SATURDAY: band. was alright i guess. cant remember much except that Cynthia(Rin) forgot to bring Gundam Seed Destiny AGAIN. uh... Rin and i kinda "ditched" Sam. Rin and I were walking down the slope see? and i got this sms from Ness asking if i wanted mom to give me a lift home. Rin was beside me at that time. Sam was lagging way behind. still in the band room i think. so i just asked Cynthia if she wanted a lift home cuz it was sort of on the way. she didnt want to trouble my mom and stuffs but my mom said it was alright so we sent her home.

reached home, had lunch, changed to outing clothes and left for i-cant-remember-what-museum to view the Vatican Museum exhibits. quite nice. the oil paintings and the depictions and stuffs. we were told quite a lot of amazing stuff by our guide. she told us that Michelangelo was painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. he painted a lot of nude forms and the cardinal wasnt very happy about that and Michelangelo got his revenge of sorts by painting the face of the cardinal where the face of the devil should go and since the cardinal was not happy about the nude forms, he gave the devil clothes. overall, the paintings and artifacts were marvelous. but to me it had the creepy feel about it. maybe cuz of the lighting and stuffs but seeing all these things from centuries ago can sometimes give you the creeps when you wonder whether your treasured earthly possessions will be kept like that for others to see. but they obviously wouldnt. because you havent made that big a print on the earth.

we had ice cream then went to celebrate Joel's birthday after dinner which we had at i-cant-remember-where. it was more of a Yee family outing. it's creepy. i mean, look at the cousins on Sars' fathers side. Sars has only ONE female cousin meaning only Rachel and Sars are the only girls there. then there's the cousins on my fathers side of the tree. the bulk are GIRLS. how the opposite. sighs.... i really dont get Nicolas. one moment he has this "burst of energy" and talks like no tomorrow then the next second when people are talking to him, it's as though he has lost all forms of word power. and really. when i talk to him, which usually compromises of insulting some of our school teachers or anime, he like wants to run away. especially when Sars is not around. i mean, get off it!! i wount bite!! Grrr..........

SUNDAY: church, no cat class, went for Youth Charge. PnW was alright. only thing was that the accompanyment was so loud and you had to kind of strain to hear the singers. played badminton.

went to Sars house for lunch. took MRT to Raffles City for some talk on how to study effectively. mainly, the whole thing was to promote this ALW where they teach you techiniques on how to study and remember almost all of youve studied for a loooooooing time. quite cool. its proven your brain finds it the most difficult to remember numbers. and this guy that went for the course could remember a grid of 48 numbers and you shout out like "C6" and he will give you the exact number on that square. he might get it wrong but that is like a 1% chance. so all of us signed up except Luke. he was like "NO WAY AM I GOING FOR THE THING!!" ah well.

TODAY: woke up average time. my siblings are starting to wake up same time as me. not counting Ness. but still, must learn to get up earlier. so can chope the com... hehee...

Jacky and Venessa came over today. kept watching the toot Charlie and the Chocolate Factory over and over. they can already memorise all the lines!! what more do they want?!?!

kind of slacked today. did some homework and packed my bags for tomorrows and the next-two-days-after that's band camp. i think im being really extra. TWO duffel bags. one smaller than the other of course. and a RED sleeping bag. all i need is a towel. wheet~!
